Athletics: USA win women's 4x100m relay gold
We're starting with the first of those relays, thewomen's 4x100m relay.
Huge roars for France, who are in this final. Netherlands in lane 2, Canada in lane 3, Jamaica in lane 4, USA in lane 5, France in lane 6, Germany in lane 7, Great Britain in lane 8, and Switzerland in lane 9.
Notably for USA, they haveGabby Thomas andSha'Carri Richardson on legs 3 and 4 afterMelissa Jefferson andTwanisha Terry. Dina Asher-Smith leads off for Great Britain with Daryll Neita on anchor. Jamaica are without either Shericka Jackson or Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
Allez les Bleues is the chant for the French women.
The rain is torrential for a moment, then lets up a little. It could make a big difference on the changeovers though.
Off they go from the off and Great Britain are off to a fantastic start, having caught Switzerland on the stagger before the first changeover.
It's still the Brits doing into the second and third changeovers but Germany are in the lead briefly and here come the United States!
On the line it's close! Have the USA overtaken Great Britain? They have!
USA win gold in 41.78, a season's best. Great Britain silver in 41.85. AndGermany bronze in 41.97.
Now over to the referees to review the tape for possible disqualifications.

Diving: Chen Yiwen wins women's 3m springboard gold
As expected, thePeople's Republic of China have won anotherdiving gold, this one in thewomen's 3m springboard thanks toChen Yiwen.
Chen scored 376.00 from her five dives to win by over 30 points from the silver medallist.
But what is perhaps surprising is the identity of that silver medallist – not Chen's teammate and synchro partnerChang Yani, but rather Australia'sMaddison Keeney.
Chang had a bad first dive that scored over 25 points fewer than Keeney, and although Chang was consistently second throughout the four remaining dives was not able to overcome that deficit.
Keeney took silver on 343.10, while Chang won bronze with 318.75 points.

Hockey: Argentina win women's bronze
There was nothing to seperate the two sides after 60 minutes of regular play, with the score 2-2 at full-time.
So, we had to head to the dreaded penalty shoot-out to decide a winner.
Ultimately, it was Argentina who proved more decisive, scoring with three of their four shots, while Belgium's attempts (apart from a lone goal by Justine Rasir) were poor and easily saved by Cristina Cosentino in Las Leonas' goal.
Argentina win the shoot-out 3-1, and with it the bronze! Their players and fans celebrate wildly, while there are tears among the Belgians. Such are the harsh outcomes of a penalty shoot-out.

It means we've seen both the Olympic record for the Laser Run and for Overall Points re-written today.
Czechia'sMartin Vlach scored 713 points in the Laser Run with a time of 9:47.46, compared to his Tokyo 2020 Olympic record of 670 points for the longer distance.

Sailing: Valentin Bontus (AUT) wins men's kite gold
Bontus leads Pianozzi at the second of four marks here in the third race of this men's kite final.
Vodisek has already crashed out of this race while Maeder is not particularly in it.
Remember, this final is over if Bontus wins. Pianozzi has to win to keep the final alive. Bontus has kept his big 23m kite, while the other three went to smaller kites.
Bontus still leads through the third mark and is on course for gold here! One last leg and a turn towards the finish for the Austrian.
But he keeps his cool to win the race – he's won all three races of the final – andtake gold for Austria!
Slovenia'sToni Vodisek takes silver.
Singapore'sMax Maeder wins bronze. At 17, Maeder becomes the youngest Olympic medallist in sailing since 15-year-old Michael Schoettle for USA in 1952.
